Remote PC Fix is a division of Facet Computers, with 5 locations in Central Illinois, USA, with our main corporate offices located in Pekin, Illinois. We have a staff of over 25 technicians and have been in the IT and PC repair industry for over 25 years. You may reach us by phone during normal business hours at: 309-353-4727.
IMPORTANT - THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE BETWEEN FACET COMPUTERS, D.B.A. REMOTE PC FIX, AND YOU THE SUBSCRIBER. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR, ACCEPTING, USING, OR SUBSCRIBING TO THE REMOTE PC FIX SERVICES.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you begin a chat session, place an order, or respond to an outgoing market piece (such as email). When ordering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or any other information such as a credit card for making a secure purchase. You may browse our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or other's rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Terms and Conditions of Our Services - Our Guarantee
- Using our secure, industry leading remote PC access software, our experienced, certified technicians log in to your computer remotely and diagnose the problem. This process is safe and secure and you always have full control over what we are doing. You allow us access, you can watch what we do the entire time, and you may stop the process and take control of your computer at any time.
- If our technicians determine they can fix your problem or take care of your support need remotely, we tell you the flat rate charge.
- If you choose to NOT move forward, we simply disconnect from your PC and we're done - no cost to you, and no obligation.
If you choose to move forward, we then send you to our secure payment form where we only authorize your credit card for payment. We do not actually charge your card until the work is done and you approve it. We just validate that you are a real person with a valid credit card in order to begin. We do not keep your credit information, as this process is handled securely through our third-party payment processor.
- Our technicians then go to work on fixing your PC immediately! Once our technicians resolve your issue, we then charge your credit card the agreed upon amount - even if it takes us longer than we thought it would - you still only pay the original amount once you are fully satisfied the issue is fixed!
If our technicians do NOT fix the issue or you are not satisfied with the results, you do NOT PAY.
